  • Dyspraxia (difficulty coordinating the movements involved in speech production)
  • Dysarthria (slurred speech)
  • Cognitive communication problems (such as difficulty organising what to say, being slow to understand what is being said, difficulty coming up with ideas or understanding/accepting another person’s point of view)
  • Voice Disorders including helping corporate/professional voice users such as teachers or lawyers to optimise their voice use)
  • Stuttering – we offer a variety of individual and intensive group therapy programs
  • Dysphagia – Swallowing assessment and management services

  • Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC)
  • Social and pragmatic skills through a respectful neuro-diversity affirming lens

By harnessing collaboration with the University of Melbourne and leading experts, we have expanded our specialist services to include:

  • Gender affirming voice clinic supported by Dr Yeptain Leung a leading researcher and clinical expert in the provision of gender affirming voice care for transfeminine, transmasculine, and nonbinary people. This program allows people to learn to use their voices safely and effectively to authentically express their gender
  • Stuttering care, individual care and group therapy including a 5-day intensive program where adolescents and adults who stutter learn a fluency technique to control their stuttering, followed by 4 follow-up sessions to assist with maintenance of fluency skills. This program creates an opportunity to meet and work with others who stutter and to build a sense of community.
  • Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) clinic, an instrumental swallowing assessment services supported by Dr Olga Birchall, whose innovative research led to the introduction of mobile FEES services for adults living in residential aged care homes in Australia.
  • Voice screening service where professional voice users (e.g., teachers) receive valuable vocal screening and advice to help support their long-term vocal health.
